Friendlies, tournaments and more: How to follow Thorns players away on international duty

As the international window opens on women's soccer, Thorns FC have a number of players participating in matches and tournaments over the next few weeks.

Midfielder Olivia Moultrie is with the U.S. U-20s in France for the Sud Ladies Cup, formerly known as the Toulon Tournament.

In Sweden, goalkeeper Shelby Hogan is participating with the U.S. U-23s in the Women's U-23 Three-Nations Tournament against India and Sweden.

Sam Coffey, Becky Sauerbrunn and Sophia Smith are all with the U.S. Women's National Team with the trio taking part in a series of friendlies followed by Sauerbrunn and Smith continuing to the Concacaf W Championship in Mexico. Christine Sinclair and Janine Beckie (Canada) as well as Rocky Rodríguez (Costa Rica) will also be competing at the Concacaf tournament. The confederation competition serves as Concacaf's qualifiers for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup with the top two teams moving on and the third place team advancing to an inter-continental playoff.

Midfielder Hina Sugita is with Japan for a few friendlies while defender Natalia Kuikka joins Finland for the 2022 UEFA Women's European Championships in England.
