Portland Timbers Annual Member Resale Tool Guide

When you as the Annual Members are unable to attend a match or use your tickets, we want to provide recommendations to help ensure a smooth and effective resale experience. Here are some trusted tools to help make the most of your listing! 

1. Use the Official Resale Marketplace

While tickets can be listed on various secondary platforms, we recommend using SeatGeek, the club’s official and trusted resale partner. Since your tickets are already hosted there and the club directs fans to this marketplace, you’re more likely to reach a larger audience and complete your sale efficiently. It also ensures that should there be any ticket issues on match day, our team is much better equipped to assist since we can see much more helpful info on the backend than if you were to use other platforms. 

2. List Tickets Early

For the best chance of achieving a strong resale price, list your tickets 7–10 days before the match. Waiting until the last-minute increases competition from other sellers, which can push prices down. 

3. Expect Pricing to Vary by Match

Not all games carry the same resale value. Demand fluctuates based on factors such as opponent quality, match timing, and overall interest. As a result, some games—particularly high‑profile weekend matchups—may resell for more than others, even if your original ticket cost was the same. 

4. Take Advantage of SeatGeek’s Smart Pricing Tools

SeatGeek’s Smart Pricing feature can help automatically adjust your listing based on market conditions. This tool evaluates extensive data to recommend competitive pricing without requiring manual oversight.

5. Annual Member Exchange Program

Finally, as an Annual Member, you also have exclusive access to our Annual Member Exchange Program. This benefit allows you to exchange tickets from matches you cannot attend into other matches or upgrade your seats—up to five times per season. If you select a higher priced ticket or tiered match, you’ll pay the difference at checkout while still receiving the Annual Member rate. If you move into seats at a lower price point, there is no credit or refund provided. There are only two blackout dates for exchanges being the April 11 match vs. LAFC and the August 1 match vs. Seattle. Keep in mind that the deadline to exchange out of a match is 48 hours prior to kickoff.
