Bill Oakley, a former head writer and showrunner for The Simpsons, has carved out a new niche as a “Professional Food Enthusiast,” creating quirky, high-engagement content around food. A regular contributor to the History Channel’s The Food That Built America, Oakley, now a Portland resident, has partnered with the Timbers and Zenner's for a special Signature Grilling Dog. The dog, made with premium pork shoulder, fresh parsley, green onion, zesty lemon, nutmeg and white pepper all packed in a snappy natural casing.
