Though the match ended on a last second, to use Baggies' manager Roy Hodgson's words, "once in a blue moon" kind of shot, the Portland Timbers played an exciting and frenetic match against English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion sadly losing at the very end 3-2.
The scoring started with a first half strike by Timbers English striker Eddie Johnson who celebrated in style. And while his teammates performed admirable, he slightly edged goalkeeper Adin Brown--by 1 vote--to win the CenturyLink Man of the Match
