Timbers 2 kicked off its inaugural USL season in style last Sunday night, defeating Real Monarchs 3-1 in front of 3,667 fans at Merlo Field.
Forward Kharlton Belmar netted two in the club's regular season debut and earned himself a place in the USL Team of the Week.
