PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers midfielder David Guzmán has been named to the Costa Rica Men’s National Team roster for a pair of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
Guzmán, 27, will join Costa Rica for its first qualifying match in 2017 against Mexico at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico, on March 24, beginning at 6:50 p.m. (Pacific). Four days later, Costa Rica will travel to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to face the Honduras National Team at Estadio Francisco Morazan on March 28.
