PORTLAND, Ore.— The Portland Timbers today announced that the club’s authentic and replica “Rose City FC” jerseys are now available as part of a special pre-sale at shop.portlandtimbers.com. Also, beginning Friday, Feb. 11, the secondary jerseys and the full line of Rose City FC apparel and accessories will be available exclusively at the Timbers Downtown Team Store, located at 519 SW 6th Ave. in Portland.
The Rose City FC merchandise will be exclusively available at the Timbers Downtown Team Store and team web shop through Monday, Feb. 14.
In addition to the red authentic and replica secondary jerseys, other Rose City FC items available for purchase beginning Feb. 11 include adult and youth t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, scarves, keychains, coffee mugs, pennants, decals, bumper stickers and temporary tattoos.
Jersey customization will be available for $25 at the Timbers Downtown Team Store and at shop.portlandtimbers.com.
Featuring a similar split-jersey design and familiar Alaska Airlines script to that of the team’s primary green jersey, the authentic secondary shirt features two shades of red, with the body fabric specially engineered by adidas with Rose City thorns repeating down the middle and a distinctive Rose City badge prominently displayed opposite the team’s primary crest on the front of the jersey.
The Rose City badge is featured on all authentic jerseys, but is available on replica secondary kits exclusively at the Timbers website and Team Store.
White sleeves provide a modern element to the secondary jersey, while the “Rose City” verbiage on the back of the neck and printed thorn back-neck taping on the authentic shirt further call to its inspiration.
