Club Necaxa arrived in Portland today for their match against the Timbers on Wednesday, May 9 at PGE Park presented by Tecate. Join the Necaxa Elite are defender Issac Frey Feld, midfielder Abraham Stringer, forward Hector Quintanar and midfielder Raul Ybarra.

Necaxa Elite battled the California Victory of the USL First Division Saturday to a 1-0 loss at Kezar Stadium last Saturday. Necaxa Elite’s stop in San Francisco was the fourth match on their 2007 U.S. Tour.
Victory defender Kiel McClung scored the game’s lone goal in the 16th minute on a free kick by midfielder Ricardo Sanchez. Necaxa Elite nearly found the equalizer in the 51st minute but Victory goalkeeper Eric Reed maintained his shutout with a key save.
In an extremely physical match, Sanchez was ejected in the 70th minute after recieving his second yellow card of the match. In total, there were 10 cautions distributed between the two sides.
