In a game that saw the Portland Timbers dominating possession, shots, corners and more, there was one player in particular helping pull the strings.
Midfielder Franck Songo’o was once again instrumental in the match with pace, creativity, and guile. He battled Dallas defender Zack Loyd all afternoon and was in the mix throughout the match.
While Jack Jewsbury had an incredible golazo to tie it up, it was Songo’o who narrowly beat out the captain.
Franck Songo’o is your CenturyLink Man of the Match.
