T2 to face Real Monarchs SLC in inaugural home opener on March 29

PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 will play host to fellow USL PRO expansion side Real Monarchs SLC in the team’s inaugural home opener of the 2015 USL PRO season at Merlo Field on Sunday, March 29, at 6 p.m. (Pacific), it was announced today as USL PRO unveiled details for each club’s home-opening matches for the upcoming 2015 season.

Portland will play 14 regular-season home matches during the USL PRO regular season, running from March until September. Season tickets, starting at $8 per game, for T2 home matches are now on sale at www.timbers2.com or by calling (503) 553-5555, with limited spots still available in the club’s 1975 Trust.

The match on March 29 will mark T2’s inaugural USL PRO home match in the Rose City as Portland opens its home schedule against Real Monarchs SLC, which along with Portland is one of seven USL PRO expansion teams operated by MLS clubs. Real Monarchs SLC is the USL PRO entry of MLS side Real Salt Lake.
