Portland Timbers players, now in Tucson for preseason for almost a full week, have been busy training, attending team meetings and using the time bonding as a club. Here's a quick look at to what some of the players have been up to in Arizona.
Rodney Wallace, Maximiliano Urruti and Jeanderson were all busy bonding while Jeanderson and Dairon Asprilla also ran into some Timbers fans in Tucson.
Speaking of fans, Timbers supporters were out in full force this past Saturday night at the team's 2-0 preseason win over Sporting. Goals from Gaston Fernandez and Michael Nanchoff caused even a bit of Timbers Army smoke to be in full effect in the desert evening.
The Timbers next preseason match is Saturday against the Houston Dynamo at the Kino Sports Complex (6pm PT, Webstream at Timbers.com)
