#StatMan Three | Timbers forward Fanendo Adi into a tie for the MLS lead for most goals scored

With goals from Fanendo Adi and Diego Valeri on either side of halftime, some solid goalkeeping from Jake Gleeson and some lockdown defense, the Portland Timbers came up big to help preserve a 2-1 victory against Toronto FC. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match.

4Jake Gleeson delivered four saves--many of them of the spectacular variety. It was the most saves Gleeson has had in a MLS match since the goalkeeper had five against New England in his debut start on April 2, 2011.

17 Fanendo Adi put the Timbers on the board in the 17th minute for the earliest goal scored by the Timbers this season. The goal also tied the him with San Jose's Chris Wondolowski for the MLS lead with seven goals.

1&1 For the seventh time in his Portland career, Diego Valeri had both a goal and assist in the same match. Valeri last accomplished the feat in a 3-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Sept. 20, 2014.
