2016 MLS Team of the Week (Wk 32/33): Timbers defender Vytas wins two penalty kicks in same game

Vytas #2, Timbers vs. Rapids, 10.16.16

The Portland Timbers continued their historically solid October with a clutch 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids Sunday at Providence Park.

Helping the Timbers was defender Vytas. Freshly returned from national team duty with Lithuania, Vytas became only the second player in MLS history since 2011 to draw two penalty kicks in the same game. Active throughout the match on the left side of the field in attack, the defender was also credited two tackles and two clearances all of which earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Week (Wk 32/33).
