Quick Strikes | Diego Valeri, Fanendo Adi have a combined five braces in 2017

Diego Valeri, Timbers vs. Dallas, 6.10.17

The Portland Timbers look to extend their two-game winning streak in MLS play as they head to the Centennial State to take on the Colorado Rapids Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park (6:30pm PT, ROOT SPORTS). Here are five numbers to know for #COLvPOR in the latest Quick Strikes.

49 Reigning MLS Player of the Week Fanendo Adi has continued to climb the MLS goalscoring chart. Only one MLS player (Bradley Wright-Phillips) has more than Adi's 49 goals since the Nigerian striker debuted for the Timbers in 2014.

4 Portland is undefeated in its last four games in the match immediately following an U.S. Open Cup match. In those four games, the Timbers have two road draws and two home wins including a 0-0 draw at Colorado last season.

266 The Portland defense has held opponents scoreless over his last 266 minutes of play. It is the fifth-longest shutout streak in MLS this season.

2 After compiling two assists in his first three MLS seasons (60 games), defender Zarek Valentin has matched that total in his six games played this season. Valentin's two assists both came in Portland victories.

5 Between Adi and Diego Valeri, the Timbers have had five braces by players this season. Those five two-goal games are tied with Toronto FC for most braces in 2017.
