Timbers defender Modou Jadama, on loan to Timbers 2, was named to the USL Team of the Week after helping T2 to a pair of shutouts during Week 8 action.
Jadama scored the second goal in T2's 2-0 victory over Sacramento Republic FC on May 2 at Providence Park, before registering 11 clearances and winning 14 of 22 duels in a 0-0 draw against Saint Louis FC at Toyota Stadium on May 5. Jadama has made eight appearances (8 starts) for T2 in 2018, tallying one goal and leading the team with 56 clearances.
Next up, Portland travels to face Cascadia-rival Seattle Sounders FC 2 at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Wash., on Saturday, May 12. Beginning at 5 p.m. (Pacific), the match against Sounders FC 2 will be streamed live on ESPN+.
