Keep it moving
T2 enter Sunday’s home contest against Fresno FC following a 1-0 loss to Reno 1868 FC at Greater Nevada Field on June 30. Portland ranks tied for eighth in the USL in goals scored (26), and ranks tied for second in the league in shutouts (8).

Timbers Academy
Timbers Academy forward Gio Calixtro made his season debut in a 1-0 loss to Reno 1868 FC on June 30. Calixtro is the third current Timbers Academy play to see time this year for T2, as Carlos Anguiano and Lucas Cini have each made appearances this season. Additionally, Timbers Academy graduates Foster Langsdorf and Marco Farfan have each made appearances for the Timbers and T2 in 2018.

In seven home matches in Portland, T2 are 4-3-0. T2 are 1-2-0 at Merlo Field this season. In their first match this season at Merlo Field on April 18, T2 defeated Rio Grande Valley FC 3-2 with forward Foster Langsdorf scoring the game-winning goal. Five of Langsdorf’s six goals in 2018 have been scored at home.

Scouting Fresno FC
Fresno FC, one of two expansion clubs in the Western Conference for the 2018 USL season and the USL affiliate of Vancouver Whitecaps FC, enter Sunday’s match following a 2-0 win over Sacramento Republic FC at Chukchansi Field on June 30. In nine road matches this season, Fresno FC has a 1-5-3 record, with their only road victory coming in a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC 2 on March 28. Fresno ranks 13th in the league in goals scored (24), while ranking third in shots (265).
