#StatMan Three | Valeri notches 100th assist of Timbers career

The 2020 season came to the end when the Portland Timbers were eliminated by a penalty kick shootout following a 1-1 draw against FC Dallas on Sunday at Providence Park in the Western Conference Round One of the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from #PORvDAL.

100 With the assist on Portland's goal in the second half, Diego Valeri notched the 100th assist of his Timbers career across all competitions. Valeri has 45 more assists than any other player in club history. 

1 Playing in the 16th playoff game of his MLS career, Jorge Villafaña scored his first career postseason goal. It was the second consecutive match that Villafaña had scored a goal, having also scored in the regular-season finale. 

22 The Timbers finished the match with 22 shots and eight shots on target. The 22 shots were four more than any previous playoff game for the club while the eight shots on target are tied for the most by the club in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
