Timbers Alliance
The Portland Timbers Alliance Club program is a strategic partnership with elite youth clubs within the Portland Timbers’ development territory. The Alliance program is designed to build unique working relationships and development opportunities to help channel the top youth players towards the Timbers’ development programs and the Timbers Academy.
Alliance Club program goals:

- Club Exposure & Promotion
- Player Scouting & Identification
- Player Development
- Coach Development
As part of the Alliance, the Timbers share resources and curriculum with Alliance Clubs in the development of youth players, coaches and Club programs. Alliance Clubs benefit greatly from gaining insight into the Timbers methodology, game model and receive a variety of training session plans direct from Timbers coaching staff, aiding coaching development.
In years past we have identified multiple talented players who have trained for prolonged periods within the Portland Timbers Academy structure. We continue to look for highly talented players who may be a good fit.
Portland Timbers coaches are also on hand to visit Alliance Clubs to run training sessions, camps, identification sessions and a variety of high-level coaching education meetings tailor made to each Alliance Clubs specific needs.

Boise Timbers (ID)
Eastside Timbers (OR)
North Timbers FC (ID)
