Fan Experience Staff & Managers are the first to interact with fans and are trained to present an approachable demeanor to assist guests, resolve questions or concerns while being focused on identifying any potential security concerns. Coast to Coast Event Services staff assist arriving guests including specific roles surrounding bag checking as well as metal detections. Coast security agents are all trained in conflict resolution management with an emphasis in achieving compliance to avoid any need for escalation. Providence Park In-House Security Managers have extensive experience in crowd management, conflict resolution and communication and respond to all behavior-related incidents, along with Fan Experience Managers, to ensure a proper and fair resolution is achieved. This group has the ability to offer ticket refunds, seat relocations, etc. to take an unfortunate incident and turn it into a positive or resolve the issue without the need for any increased conflict. American Medical Response EMTs are onsite and can be found in locations throughout the facility to provide medical assistance onsite or assist in transportation to local health care facilities and hospitals via ambulance. The primary first aid room can be found behind section 109. The primary responsibilities for PPB officers at matches are traffic/pedestrian direction, street closures and visiting team bus escorts, along with stadium security pre-match sweeps involving explosives detection K-9s. We promote and train our in-house staff and security to be vigilant in engaging with fans to resolve and prevent conflict - this reduces the need for direct involvement of law enforcement in conflict resolution. Considering the size and type of events at Providence Park, the presence of law enforcement helps ensure we have a safe environment for our thousands of fans, while also providing an adequate response in the case of an emergency.
