Strong start to 2019
In 13 matches to begin the 2019 season, T2 (6-2-5, 23pts) sit in third place in the Western Conference standings and rank fourth in the league in goals scored (28). T2 are coming off a 2-2 draw on the road to Austin Bold FC on June 8, which extended a four-match unbeaten run. After scoring a goal in the draw against Austin, Eryk Williamson has now scored three goals in 10 appearances, as he co-leads the assists column league-wide with seven. Dairon Asprilla leads the team with six goals scored in five appearances. Foster Langsdorf and Modou Jadama rank tied for second in goals scored (4). Marvin Loría, Brayan Hurtado, Giovani Calixtro and Ryan Sierakowski have each scored two goals in 2019.

T2 against Fresno FC
Sunday’s match marks the third meeting all-time between Fresno FC and Portland, with T2 trailing the series 0-1-1. In the last meeting between the two clubs, T2 earned a 2-2 draw against Fresno FC at Chukchansi Park on Sept. 22, 2018. Portland and Fresno will meet once more during the 2019 USL Championship regular season, facing off against one another at Chukchansi Park on Saturday, July 20.

In six home matches in 2019, T2 have only lost once, posting a 3-1-2 record at home thus far this season. T2 has scored 10 of their 28 goals this season in home matches. Additionally, four of Dairon Asprilla’s six goals this season have come in home matches.

Scouting Fresno FC
Fresno FC (5-2-6, 21pts) enter Sunday’s match following a 1-1 home draw against OKC Energy FC at Chukchansi Park on June 8, which earned them their first point after two consecutive league losses. Fresno holds a 3-1-3 away record to start the 2019 season, but  have not won any matches  (home or away) since May 22, when they defeated Austin Bold FC 1-0 at home.
