Unbeaten in three games to open the 2019 USL Championship season, T2 travel to face LA Galaxy II at Dignity Health Sports Park Track & Field Stadium on Saturday, March 30; kickoff is 7 p.m. (Pacific).

T2 (2-0-1, 7pts) picked up its second consecutive win in its 2019 home opener on March 23, defeating Las Vegas Lights FC 3-1 at Merlo Field. Midfielder Dairon Asprilla tallied a brace and an assist, while forward Foster Langsdorf scored his first goal of the campaign to help the team move into a three-way tie for first place in the USL Championship's Western Conference. 


T2 on the road 2019
T2 plays four of its first five matches of the season on the road. The team is 1-0-1 in its first two away fixtures of the campaign, and a 5-1-3 overall road record in its last nine contests dating back to July 28, 2018.  


USL Championship Team of the Week
Asprilla was named the to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 3 after recording two goals and an assist in T2’s victory over Las Vegas on March 23. Asprilla is the second T2 player this season to be named to the USL Team of the Week, joining Marvin Loría (Week 2) who scored two goals in a 3-1 win over San Antonio FC on March 16.

U.S. U-23 National Team appearances
Marco Farfan and Eryk Williamson were both called into the U.S. U-23 National Team for an international camp during last week’s FIFA international window. Farfan started and played 45 minutes against Egypt on March 22 and played 25 minutes off the bench in a 0-0 draw against the Netherlands on March 24. Williamson played 45 minutes as a second-half substitute against Egypt. Farfan and Williamson have each started two matches for T2 on loan from the Timbers.

Portland against LA Galaxy II
In eight all-time matches between T2 and LA Galaxy II (1-2-0, 3pts), the series is tied 4-4-0. In the last meeting between the two clubs, Portland earned a 4-3 road win over LA at StubHub Track & Field Stadium on July 28, 2018, with Foster Langsdorf scoring a second-half brace, including the game-winning goal. In the first meeting between the two teams last season, T2 defeated Galaxy II, 7-3, at Providence Park on May 18, 2018. The seven goals scored set a new club record for goals scored in a single match, while Langsdorf tallied the first hat trick in team history.

Scouting LA Galaxy II
LA Galaxy II (1-2-0, 3pts) enter Saturday’s match following a 5-0 loss against Real Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium on March 23. During the offseason, Los dos signed eight new players to their roster: Abraham Romero, Kai Koreniuk, Nick DePuy, Don Tchilao, Augustine Williams, Jose Hernandez, Michael Gallagher and Omar Ontiveros. The team currently ranks 10th in the USL Championship’s Western Conference standings.
